I will probably raise this as a support ticket but I wanted to see if anyone here has had the same problem.
Since my simulator PC upgraded itself to the Windows 10 May 2019 release (1903) I've been having problems with the G1000 Student Simulator Pro. This runs on a separate machine to the Prepar3d instance and connects via the Network Module. This other machine has *not* yet upgraded to 1903.
Fairly often when I start the G1000 after P3D has been started (or if I start P3D after the G1000, it happens either way), the G1000 reports that P3D is disconnected. Sometimes it connects but then quickly says it's disconnected and is trying to reconnect. Sometimes it connects and works for a while, then does the same thing. If I try to make it reconnect, it times out every time. Once this has happened, restarting the G1000 software (and restarting the PC it runs on) does not fix the problem.
If I shut down and restart P3D, this *may* resolve the problem. But it may not. Sometimes I have to restart the P3D PC completely.
This problem is random, but frequent. It's making the G1000 all but unusable.
Anyone seen similar? It's obviously related to the network module running on the P3D computer - but I don't see how a module that's loaded in-process with Prepar3d itself could crash without bringing down the whole simulator.
